    **What you will do**

    + As an Associate Field Service Representative, you are responsible for supporting a service territory and for the repair and delivery of equipment

    + You will perform all required quality control checks and preventative maintenance, global hold repairs, and wireless upgrades

    Field Service Technician - Grinding

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Grinding Field Service Technician to join our team. The Grinding Field Service Technician assists with the installation and technical support of CNC Grinding equipment throughout the West Coast. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services for CNC grinding machines at customer sites.     RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Perform installation, setup, and calibration of CNC grinding machines at customer facilities.

    Conduct routine maintenance tasks to ensure optimal machine performance and reliability.

    Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and software issues with CNC grinding equipment.

    Execute repairs and replacements of defective parts as needed, adhering to safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines.

    Provide training to customers on machine operation, maintenance, and safety procedures.

    Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify opportunities for process improvement and machine optimization.

    Document service activities, including work performed, parts used, and recommendations for future maintenance.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    EDUCATION:

    **About the role:**

    The **Field Service Technician I** is responsible for the delivery of high-quality customer service, performing preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of Hach devices located at our customer sites. The customer base for this role is anticipated to be a combination of municipal (i.e., drinking and wastewater treatment facilities) and industrial (i.e., power plants and food and beverage plants).

    This position is part of the **North America Field Service Team** located in **Phoenix, AZ** and will be **remote.**

    To **get fully onboard,** you will participate in our **Service Training Program** (a 10-week program with a mix of class-based and field training). You will have a dedicated trainer who will travel with you and also access to the Field Service Playbook and online content for your support.

    In this role, you will:

    + Perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration/verification of instrumentation using established company standard work.

    + Promotes a positive customer experience and serves as on-site customer contact for technical and service-related problems.

    + Submits prompt, accurate service reports that affect billing, inventory, instrument history, and instrument failure.

    + Follows safe work practices according to company policy.

    + Executes administrative activities in support of service visits.

    + 60-75% travel within a **2-hour** radius of **the Phoenix area.** You can expect to have up to **1-3** nights away each **week** with company-paid accommodations and meals.
